Terms of Service

PayRespect is a marketplace and information service. We publish prices and details for funeral, cremation, burial and related services and connect you with licensed providers. We are not a funeral home, cemetery, crematory, insurer, lender or law firm, and we do not perform funeral services ourselves.

Estimates are based on the information you enter and on provider-supplied or regional price data, and are clearly labeled when they are an estimate rather than a confirmed quote. Your binding price is the written quote or contract issued by the provider you choose. Taxes, cash advance items and third-party charges are shown where known.

Any service agreement is between you and the provider. The provider is solely responsible for licensing, care of the deceased, timelines and the services performed. We vet providers and re-check credentials, but we do not guarantee their work.

Give accurate information, use the phone number and email you control, and use the site only for lawful purposes. Do not scrape, resell listings, impersonate a provider or family member, submit false reviews, or attempt to access another person's account, vault or messages.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for whom you invite. Access to a pre-planning vault is released to a survivor only after the verification steps set in the vault. Every access event is logged.

Where a deposit or payment is taken through the site, it is processed by our payment processor and applied to the provider's invoice. Refund and dispute handling is described on our refunds and disputes page. Chargeback rights under your card agreement are unaffected.

Post only your own honest, first-hand experience. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to publish, format and distribute what you submit. We may hold, decline or remove content that is defamatory, unlawful, off-topic or unverifiable, and providers may reply under our moderation rules. You can appeal a decision.

Insurance assignment amounts, advance percentages and fees are shown before you sign and depend on carrier verification. Benefits eligibility results are general guidance only, not a determination by the VA, SSA, a state agency or a union, and we do not file claims for you.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, PayRespect is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid PayRespect in the prior 12 months or $100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify PayRespect against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your content. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing anything, contact support@payrespect.ai so we can try to resolve it.

We may update these terms and will change the date above; continued use means you accept the update. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Questions: support@payrespect.ai.
